Hi Everyone - I just had a fantastic weekend of hunting and wanted to share some spots with you!
There is a place called the Last Resort in Blue Ridge Georgia - 515 to Maxwell Road. If you rent a cabin you can wander the grounds and find as much starulite as you wish! This is a private development full of construction workers, so I suggest renting a space instead of random wandering. I found several sharp bars and points by sorting gravel in the various streams. Larger (finger long) bars can be found along the road cuts and in new building sites! In just a few hours I found a gallon jug of starulite pieces and about 2 dozen fairy crosses of vairous orientations!
Also - South of Lafayette on 1/27 the road is being expanded and I have found lots of exciting pink and purple agates in the new road bed!
