carborenium (sp?)

Does anyone know about this stone? It is on a black matrix and has blue, green and purple (violet) sparkles on it. I heard that it is a waste product of carbon, but I can't find anything written about it. Is it possibly under a different name?

    Cindy-

Look up Carborundum, or Silicon Carbide.

It is indeed a man-made "stone". The exception would be natural Moissanite (as opposed to the much more common synthetically produced version) that's sound in only a few places.

Most Silicon Carbide you see has been made by man.

Thank you for replying. It is a beautiful stone though and does have energy. I just want to see if it has any metaphysical properties like goldstone or zincite. I'll look these up.
