I could not stop thinking of my uber bad ass Team Awesome, these past few days or so.
I just had my spring break and spent part of it in sicily. I went to the Aeolian Islands of Lipari and Vulcano. Guess what.... Vulcano is an island with a giant Volcano!! (who woulda thunkit!)
This Vulcano was rumored to be laiden with lots of red and yellow (suphuric) crystals at the summit that are super sparkly in the sun!... which was hiding all day... so sad. So i didn't find any crazy crystals this time, but i found hella rocks of bright red and yella'!!
The landscape was insane, which, although very different, also made me think of Lencois... Volcanic craters are seriously like the moon, breathing in sulphuric steam makes you cough, and seeing the ocean boil in march (or at all!) is mindblowing!
anywho, i miss you guys. You all would have gone nuts-- it was so incredible!

Instead of Vulcano, Dana and I conquered the foothills of the Topa Topas, whilst on mind altering chemicals rhyming with flacid. It was ridiculously beautiful, and we definately took our shoes off and hiked the whole way barefoot, while playing in the mud.

seems like the crystal inspired cosmic energies of Team Awesome have spread across the globe!
not only were we also reminicing over the landscape of Lencois rolling around on mountain tops last weekend whilst you were checking out the insides of insland volcanoes, but there was definitely art being made!!! We emptied an entire box of crayons out on an unsuspecting boulder and proceeded to Luv it for a while : )
